How SIMPL Works

On January 8, 2002, the No Child Left Behind Act became a law to improve the educational opportunities for every American child. SIMPL was built with this law in mind to determine and report if students meet performance goals set by The State Accountability System and the No Child Left Behind Act.

SIMPL is a database that captures from several sources and compiles data into an annual Campus Improvement Planner. The Campus Improvement Planner collects data from the PEIMS System, Special Education, Human Resources and State Testing. SIMPL's database presents the data in the following statistical reports:

  • State Testing Results
  • Subject specific State Testing Analysis Reports
  • Demographics
  • Teacher Recruitment and Retention
  • Adequate Yearly Progress
  • Student Transition
  • Student Growth
  • Summary of Comprehensive Needs

SIMPL's Campus Improvement Planner provides templates in which to develop strategies and performance objectives for the following:

  • Action Plan for Student Achievement
  • Instructional Strategies and Professional Development Activities
  • Parental Involvement Policy
  • Community Involvement Plan
  • Coordination Plan

SIMPL's database will benefit principals, teachers, curriculum, accounting/grant managers, and State testing. Take a look at benefits page for more information.
